History

At Chamberlain’s SBR, we pride ourselves as being country practitioners who have made the commitment to demystify the complicated insolvency industry.

Chamberlain’s SBR, evolved from an original Gagie & Nicolls partnership who in 1986, purchased two small insolvency practices based in Tumut and Temora. Gagie & Nicholls subsequently relocated those businesses to Wagga Wagga, and became known has Nicholls & Co.

Throughout the 1990’s, the business continued to grow by establishing additional NSW country based offices in Dubbo, Tamworth, and Lismore. In 2004, we opened our first Victorian office in Shepparton with a later expansion in Wangaratta.

In late 2007, the Nicholls & Co partnership dissolved and Chamberlain’s SBR emerged to provide insolvency services at Wagga Wagga, Dubbo and Wangaratta offices.

Chamberlain’s SBR, current partners Chris Chamberlain and Steven Priest have over 50 years of combined experience in the Business Reconstruction and Insolvency industry, and between them hold the appropriate qualifications to take on all manner of personal or corporate appointments.
